The Heart, Brain and Vascular Centre has been in operation since October 2000. It is the only center among private hospital on Hong Kong Island to be equipped with a “bi-plane” cath-lab. Fully optioned with all available functions and latest software, it is one of the best-equipped cath-lab in the world with teaching and lives demonstration capabilities. Since its opening, hundreds of invasive cardiac and coronary procedures have been performed. One service of note is peripheral angioplasty.

Our new team of doctors brought with them one of the largest experience in peripheral angioplasty procedures in the world. The team specialises in angioplasty procedures to the internal and common carotid arteries, renal arteries, innominate, vertebral, and subclavian arteries, thoracic and abdominal aorta, and all lower limb vessels (particularly totally occluded iliac, SFA, and below knee vessels). To date, over 300 peripheral interventional procedures have been successfully performed by this team of doctors. A significant number of our patients have come from countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Philippines, India, Japan, Australia and Canada.
