In meeting the growing demands of medical service, St. Paul's Hospital started the specialized wound and stoma care service in 2006. The wound and stoma nurse specialist clinic was established in August 2008 and it provides a centralized and comfortable environment for patients receiving related services. A fully trained and well-experienced wound care nurse specialist facilitates wound and stoma care assessment and follow-up service. The clinic provides the up-to-date medical technology, treatment and skills such as polarised light device, negative pressure therapy etc. in order to promote optimal wound healing.
