Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the breast is a powerful diagnostic tool that utilizes strong magnetic field and radiofrequencies to create detailed images of breast tissue. It is especially useful for assessing abnormalities that may not be visible on mammograms or ultrasounds.
MRI is often recommended for women at high risk of breast cancer or those with dense breast tissue. The procedure is non-invasive, painless, and involves no exposure to ionizing radiation. Breast MRI provides instructive information for accurate diagnosis, surgical planning, and evaluating treatment effectiveness. Our center is equipped with two models of Siemens MRI machines: the 1.5T Avanto Fit and the 3T Skyra, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.
✔ It is effective for women at high risk, especially those with BCRA1 & BCRA2.*
✔ It is suitable for women with breast prosthesis.
✔ Please inform our staff if you have metal implants or any allergies to contrast medium.
