Implantation of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator

Implantation of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator

Patients with cardiac arrhythmia e.g. tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation can consider introducing electrodes with defibrillating functions when performing pacemaker implantation. When patient is under cardiac arrest, the defibrillator will automatically start its function by increasing defibrillating speed or introduce electric shock to stabilize heart rhythm.
